DOCS
How the launchpad works.
- STEP 01
Create
Name, ticker and image. The same coin you'd make anywhere.
- STEP 02
Pick a pad
pump.fun, Raydium, Stonk or Bonk. Your choice.
- STEP 03
Set the split
50%, 100% or any split of your creator fees to the furnace.
- STEP 04
Launch & burn
Every hour the bot buys back your coin with its fees and burns it. Proof on-chain.
01How launching works
You make your coin on Flywheel as you would anywhere: name, ticker, image, description. Pick a launchpad and a split, then sign once. Your wallet approves every transaction in one prompt, and Flywheel sends them in order:
- 01
Create the coin
On the launchpad's own on-chain program. A fresh burn wallet is made for the coin and gets 0.01 SOL from you for gas.
- 02
Wire the split
pump.fun: its fee-sharing program locks your split between you and the burn wallet. Raydium, Stonk and Bonk: the burn wallet is recorded as the coin's creator.
- 03
Dev buy (optional)
Your first buy, right after the coin exists, with a slippage cap.
- 04
Listed after checking
Flywheel reads the result back from the chain (the locked split, or the pool's creator) before the coin appears on the site.
02The four launchpads
Each launchpad sets its own curve, graduation and fees. Flywheel only changes where creator fees go. Launchpads are named for reference only: Flywheel is not affiliated with any of them.
| LAUNCHPAD | SPLIT ENFORCED BY | WHERE FEES COME FROM |
|---|---|---|
| pump.fun | pump.fun, on-chain. Locked at launch. | pump.fun's creator fee on every trade, paid straight to the split. |
| Raydium | Flywheel's bot. Recorded at launch. | Raydium's own LaunchLab pays the coin's creator 0.05% of every curve trade, on-chain. |
| Stonk | Flywheel's bot. Recorded at launch. | Stonk pays creators off-chain; its on-chain creator fee is 0%. The flywheel turns only if Stonk pays the coin's creator wallet. |
| Bonk | Flywheel's bot. Recorded at launch. | Bonk pays creator rewards off-chain; its on-chain creator fee is 0%. The flywheel turns only if Bonk pays the coin's creator wallet. |
Raydium, Stonk and Bonk all run on Raydium's LaunchLab. On Raydium's own platform the creator fee is paid on-chain, so the flywheel works without any off-chain step. Stonk and Bonk set it to 0% and pay creators themselves. Stonk coins are Token-2022 with a 1% transfer fee, which Stonk's platform requires. Both curves graduate at 85 SOL to a Raydium pool.
03The burn wallet & the bot
Every coin gets its own burn wallet: an ordinary Solana wallet whose key is encrypted and held by Flywheel's bot. It is not a smart contract, so the honest version is: these are the bot's rules, and every transaction it makes is public on your coin's page and on Solscan.
- Buy this coin with the SOL it receives (does)
- Burn every token it buys (does)
- Pay the creator's share (Raydium, Stonk, Bonk) (does)
- Buy or sell any other token (never does)
- Send SOL anywhere except the creator's share (never does)
04The hourly run
At seven minutes past every hour, for each coin, the bot:
- On pump.fun, triggers pump.fun's fee distribution, which pays you and the burn wallet per the locked split. On Raydium, Stonk and Bonk, claims any LaunchLab creator fee.
- On Raydium, Stonk and Bonk, sends you your share of what the burn wallet received.
- Buys the coin with the rest through Jupiter, keeping 0.01 SOL for gas.
- Burns every token the burn wallet holds.
Runs under 0.005 SOL are skipped until there's enough to be worth the network fee. Each buy and burn is listed on the coin's page with links to the transactions.
05What it costs
No Flywheel fee for now. You pay Solana network fees, the launchpad's own creation costs (mostly account rent), any dev buy, and 0.01 SOL into the burn wallet for its gas.
06$FLYWHEEL
$FLYWHEEL, Flywheel's own coin, hasn't launched. There's no protocol fee feeding it yet. More on $FLYWHEEL.
07FAQ
Does a buyback make my price go up?
No guarantee. Buybacks add buy pressure and burns shrink supply, but price depends on everything else in the market too. Flywheel never promises returns.
Who holds the burn wallet?
Flywheel's bot. Each coin gets a fresh wallet; its key is encrypted and only the bot can use it. The bot's code only buys that coin, burns it, and (on Stonk and Bonk) pays the creator's share. That's a rule in code, not a smart contract, which is why every transaction it makes is public on the coin's page.
Can I change my split later?
No. On pump.fun the split is locked on-chain by pump.fun's own fee sharing the moment you launch; nobody can change it, including you and Flywheel. On Stonk and Bonk the split is recorded at launch and there's no control to change it.
Why do Stonk and Bonk depend on off-chain payouts?
Both run on Raydium's LaunchLab, where the on-chain creator fee on their platforms is 0%. They pay creators off-chain. Flywheel makes the burn wallet the coin's creator, so the flywheel only turns if their payouts reach coins launched outside their own sites. A test launch will confirm it.
Will my coin show on the launchpad's site?
pump.fun: yes, it's a normal pump.fun coin. Raydium: it's on Raydium's own LaunchLab platform and trades on Raydium. Stonk and Bonk: the coin uses their platform on Raydium LaunchLab and trades on Raydium; whether their own sites list it is up to them.
What happens when my coin graduates?
Nothing changes on Flywheel's side. On pump.fun, the creator fee and its locked split carry over to the pump.fun AMM. The bot keeps running hourly.
What happens to the share I keep?
On pump.fun, pump.fun pays it straight to your wallet. On Raydium, Stonk and Bonk, the bot sends it to your wallet each hour from what the burn wallet received.
Is there a Flywheel fee?
Not for now. You pay the launchpad's own costs, Solana network fees, and 0.01 SOL that goes into the burn wallet so it can pay its own fees.
I already launched somewhere else. Can I use Flywheel?
Not yet. Routing existing coins comes later.
